Hello, I am Erin.

Adoptee. Advocate.

From a young age, I felt a pull toward marginalized communities and the urgency to speak out against unjust systems.

As an adult adoptee, I have found my space as an advocate for foster children, birth families, and foster families.

I am passionate about creating spaces where the marginalized are seen, heard, and empowered.

As a transracial adoptee, I am passionate about creating more spaces that elevate adoptees, foster youth, and biological and kinship families’ voices. Historically these voices have been silenced regarding foster care and adoptions.

I believe in the importance of training foster and adoptive parents to care for their children’s culture, heritage, and ethnicity intentionally and holistically. Additionally, I work with families to become trauma-informed caregivers as a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practitioner through TCU.

I have experience creating and leading diverse teams in a variety of settings. I have led teams through volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity across various fields and within multiple organizations. I hold my Masters in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University. In addition, I have served on and consulted for non-profit boards. I am a leader in creating and shaping healthy cultures within organizations.
